One Year Ago . . .

It's hard to believe that one year ago today our boys were conceived. Not many people can say they know the exact day their children were conceived, but we can because of IVF. This time last year we were heading to Birmingham for my egg retrieval and five days later (June 15) two embryos (Whit & Brady) were transferred to me. I remember the doctor talking to us before the transfer. She said now you know if you become pregnant there will be a 60% chance that it will be twins. We had heard this same speech before. We just wanted a baby. On Friday, June 29, 2007, we found out that I was finally pregnant. I think that was one of the happiest days of our entire lives! That is until Whit and Brady were born. I could keep going on and on, but the main reason why I wanted to post is to say . . . when you think that it can't and won't happen, just keep praying and have faith because God does listen! Look what He gave us, and I thank Him everyday for our miracle baby boys!!!

Hey there! I am not sure if you remember me or not, but I was the Child Life Specialist who gave you your car seat info before you all were discharged from the NICU. I found your site and wanted to comment on how handsome the boys are. I am so glad to hear they are doing well! They look great! Take care!!
